The Goering family are active members of the Grace Brethren Church in Eagle River, Alaska. Mr. Goering and his wife educate their five children in their home. A few resources that may be of use to other homechooling families are available by clicking here. To assist other families with their desire to home educate, they are active members of Eagle River Christian Homeschool Association (ERCHA).

One aviation service organization of special note is Angel Flight West, which is a volunteer organization providing free transportation to ambulatory patients needing medical care substantial distances away from their homes. If you are aware of someone in need who receives medical care far from home, please contact Mr. Goering, or Angel Flight West directly.
