Mr. Goering is a 1982 graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Law, having earned the Juris Doctor degree. He attended the University of Exeter (England) during the summer of 1979, where he studied English and European Community law. He is a 1979 graduate of Purdue University, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree, with a Mathematics major (Computer Science option) and Chemisty and Management minors. While at Purdue, Mr. Goering was, among other things, a member of the Purdue Bands.
